After giving up the hustle-bustle of a New York City corporate career, Julia Teachey moved to Los Angeles to follow her interest in the arts. It wasn't long before the Virginia native became a sought after makeup stylist, always keeping one eye set far beyond TV commercials and film production. Encouraged by her friends, who admired the beautiful jewelry she gave as presents, Julia became determined to follow her passion for designing elegant, hand-crafted jewelry. Thus, Julieri was born. 'When I worked in the corporate world, the thought of being in an office for the rest of my life almost made me physically ill,' she says. 'Now I'm able to do what I enjoy creating accessories that help people feel beautiful.' Julia strives to capture the magic of 'prancing-around-in-Mom's jewels' in every piece she designs. She wants her clients to put on Julieri and 'get an instant good-hair-day feeling.' |
